The 1860 census for St. James Parish lists Augustin as a Farmer, living just next to Jean Rome.

Records are unclear as to exactly how many children they had, but Augustin and Felicite had at least 4:

  • Nicholas Troxclair
  • Marie Troxclair
  • Antoinette Troxclair, who married Telesfar Simon
  • Laura Zelia Troxclair
