Britton Stamps and his wife are buried there.  According to Freddie Shearin, who researched the Stamps in the 1990s, all the other graves are slaves and their descendants.

In Memory of Edwin Stamps

In Memory of Edwin R. Stamps, born Sept. 6, 1830, died June 29, 1855. Edwin was the 12th son of Britton Frank Stamps.

In Memory of W.J. Stamps

In Memory of W.J. (William) Stamps, born August 9, 1828, died Oct. 5, 1853. William was the 11th son of Britton Stamps.

Eliza Stamps

A. Eliza Stamps, born Jun. 18, 1842, died May 1845. Eliza was Britton Stamps’ 17th child.

At age 19, Britton Stamps married Polly Sanders (December 18th of 1810), and they had thirteen children.  Polly passed away in March of 1832, and shortly afterwards Britton married his second wife, Sarah Sanders (on August 7, 1832).  Britton and Sarah had 9 children, bringing the total up to 22 children.  After Sarah died Britton married Isabella Goldsmith.  Britton and Isabella did not have any children.
